Terms & Conditions

1.   Product Specifications

a.   Hunter stoves have a policy of continuous product development and reserve the right to amend the specification of products without prior notice.
b.   Goods supplied may differ as a consequence from those advertised. Unless agreed with you, the goods supplied will be of equivalent value, functionality and appearance.

2.   Measurements

a.   We will not accept liability for any extra costs incurred by you as a result of incorrect or incomplete measurements supplied by you.

3.  Price

a.   Prices are correct at time of publication.
b.   We reserve the right to change any advertised prices at any time.
c.   Prices are in Great Britain Pounds Sterling.

4.  Payments

a.   A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total amount payable is required on all orders placed. Some goods will require payment in full at the time of purchase.
b.   The balance must be paid in full 14 days before estimated delivery date, unless otherwise advised by use.
c.   Please make cheques payable to 'Ash Grove Stoves'. Please write you name and address on the reverse of the cheque. The order will be processed when the cheque is received.
d.    Bank transfer details will be provided on your invoice.

5.  Orders and acceptance

a.   All goods are offered subject to availability.
b.   By placing an order with Ash Grove Stoves, the buyer agrees to be bound by these terms.
c.   A binding contract is formed between you and Ash Grove Stoves when you receive confirmation from us by e-mail, telephone or post, that your order has been accepted.

6.  Delivery

a.   Your estimated date shown on your sales invoice will become confirmed delivery date on payment of your balance unless otherwise advised by us.
b.   We deliver to UK & Europe (deliveries to other countries negotiable).
c.   We endeavour to deliver the goods within 1 week in the UK and Europe from receipt of payment of your order if in stock.
d.   You will be advised of the delivery charge at the time of order.
e.   All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.
f.   Any changes made by you to the content of your order may impact on your delivery date. We may therefore, be unable to deliver your goods on your confirmed delivery date should changes occur and, if so, a new delivery date will be given.
g.   If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your goods on the confirmed delivery date, we reserve the right to charge you for any subsequent deliveries.
h.   If you cancel your order within 14 days of the delivery date, we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of up to 25 to cover any costs incurred by us.
i.   You are responsible for providing a safe means of access from the public highway to the place of delivery. If our delivery staff consider it unsafe, then we will not deliver the goods until safe access is provided.
j.   If we are unable to deliver the goods due to there being no safe means of access to the place of delivery, we shall be entitled to cancel your order and refund your payments less an administration and delivery charge of up to 100 plus the non refundable deposit.
k.   If we accidentally damage goods in the course of delivery, then our liability for the damage is limited to the repair, refund or replacement of the goods.
l.   We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen reasonable circumstances outside our control or delay due to any reasonable rescheduling of delivery.

7.  Warranty

a.   The company warrants that the Products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months.
b.   The warranty given by the company is unavailable where:
i.   The defect arises from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow company instructions, misuse or alteration or repair of the products without the company's approval.
ii.   A registered HETAS or other similar qualified installer, has not installed the products.
c.   Where the defect would be apparent on inspection, the customer must notify Ash Grove Stoves within 7 days of delivery. For all other defects, notification must be made within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect.
d.   Where no such notification has been received, the Products shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Customer in good condition.
e.   Where a valid claim under the warranty is notified to Ash Grove Stoves in accordance with this condition, Ash Grove Stoves may replace the Products (or the parts in question) free of charge or, at Ash Grove Stoves discretion, refund to the customer the Price (or a proportionate of the price) in which case Ash Grove Stoves shall have no further liability to the customer.
f.   Products replaced under warranty are subject to the original 12 month warranty and do not obtain a new warranty period merely by virtue of having been supplied by the company under its warranty obligations.
g.   Ownership of the Products and/or any faulty or defective parts shall revert to the company upon replacement.
h.   We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or any other financial loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered goods, over and above the value of the goods themselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8.  Applicable Law

a.   These terms and Conditions of Trading are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws of England and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
